EXCLUSIVE: Alec Baldwin and Scott Eastwood have been set to star in Crown Vic, a gritty, futuristic cop thriller that Joel Souza wrote and will direct. Shooting begins May 1 in Los Angeles. Jim Valdez and Chris Barish are producing through their Brand Inc Group banner, along with Gregg Bello. The story revolves around two LAPD officers navigating through their own personal turmoil while hunting down a couple of vicious cop killers.

Baldwin is fresh off of Blind and Drunk Parents, while Eastwood just wrapped Live By Night for director Ben Affleck and Overdrive. Eastwood next will be seen starring in the ensemble of the David Ayer-directed Suicide Squad, which Warner Bros releases August 5, and the Oliver Stone-directed Snowden, which Open Road releases September 16. 13 Films is handling international sales on Crown Vic for Brand Inc Group.
